Current site data model

Restoration Select is primarily a static informational website. The current implementation does not create visitor accounts, store a personal product profile, process checkout payments or collect payment-card information. Product purchases take place on external merchant websites.

Analytics

The site uses a privacy-focused Google Analytics configuration. On initial page load, analytics storage and advertising storage are denied. Google signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled, IP anonymization is requested, and the configured client-storage setting is none.

The shared layout.js then enables analytics storage after a visitor's first interaction, such as a click, keydown, scroll or touch. This allows aggregate usage and affiliate-click events to be measured while keeping the site's initial consent state denied. The implementation may change if the site's analytics or consent architecture changes, and this policy should be updated at the same time.

Affiliate-click measurement

When a visitor clicks a site-owned commercial /go/ link, Restoration Select may record an affiliate_click analytics event containing non-sensitive context such as the route slug, partner, category and visible link text. This helps determine whether commercial links are functioning and which equipment categories visitors use.

The site does not need a visitor's payment details to measure that click. Any resulting purchase is completed on the external merchant's site.

Amazon and other external merchants

Some commercial links may redirect through a RestorationSelect.com /go/ path to Amazon or another external merchant. Amazon links currently include the Restoration Select Associates tracking ID so Amazon can attribute qualifying purchases under its Associates Program.

Once you leave RestorationSelect.com, the destination controls its own cookies, account information, transaction data, shipping information and privacy practices. Restoration Select does not receive your Amazon password, complete payment-card number or Amazon order details simply because you clicked an affiliate link.

Contact email

If you email Restoration Select, the message and information you choose to provide are processed so the inquiry, correction or commercial question can be reviewed and answered. Messages may include ordinary email metadata such as sender address, recipient, subject, timestamp and the content you send.

Do not send passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, medical information, detailed insurance claim documents or other sensitive personal information that is not required for the issue being reviewed.

Server, hosting and security logs

Hosting, CDN and security providers may process routine technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, requested URLs, browser/device information, cache information and security signals needed to deliver and protect the website. These systems are controlled by the relevant infrastructure provider and can change as hosting/security services evolve.

External reference links

The site also links to manufacturers, manuals, standards organizations, support pages and other non-commercial references. Those destinations have their own privacy policies and may collect information independently after you leave RestorationSelect.com.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when analytics, hosting, contact methods, affiliate programs or other site integrations change. The version published on this page is intended to describe the site's current implementation rather than hypothetical future features.
