Why the airflow cell stays blank in the site tools

It also publishes 39 lb weight and approximately 15.25 × 24 × 23 inch dimensions.

Those details can matter to fleet handling and maintenance even though they cannot repair the airflow conflict.

HEPA and optional carbon serve different purposes

The current page publishes 99.97% HEPA performance at 0.3 microns for particulate filtration and separately describes optional carbon media for odors from paint, smoke, pets and cleaning products. Carbon capability should therefore be treated as an optional media path, not as proof that every AirShield configuration includes carbon.

What about BlueDri AS1000?

AirShield and AS1000 should not be treated as a simple size ladder

The current manufacturer descriptions differ in more than airflow. AirShield emphasizes a compact stackable form with variable speed, hour meter and daisy-chain GFCI port. AS1000 uses a much larger 81 lb wheeled housing and a 1,000 CFM / 6.8A platform for larger spaces. The filtration-stage descriptions also differ.

AS1000 should therefore be evaluated on its own filter, ducting, electrical and handling specifications rather than inheriting anything from AirShield.

Why Restoration Select does not use the model name as proof of 550 CFM

Product names often contain numbers that resemble specifications, but those numbers are not a substitute for a consistent technical field. Here, the exact URL itself says 500 CFM while the series navigation says 550 CFM. The responsible approach is to preserve the conflict until BlueDri publishes one clear value.

The airflow conflict does not erase the verified handling data

How AirShield compares with verified 550–600 CFM alternatives

If a visitor specifically needs a verified minimum airflow, the current normalized catalog has alternatives with clear numbers: XPOWER X-2480A and X-2580 publish 550 CFM, while X-3400A and X-3580 publish 600 CFM. That does not make those models universally better; it simply means their airflow field can participate in Finder matching today.
