The table is intentionally narrower than XPOWER's full current catalog.

XPOWER currently lists additional scrubbers such as X-2700, X-2800, X-2830, X-3780 and larger-volume units. They are not silently mixed into the site tools until they go through the same exact-model normalization process.

The most striking commonality is electrical load: all four publish 2.8A at maximum or rated operation. That means the decision is driven more by airflow class, carbon filtration, control style, size and outlet configuration than by a large amp difference.

X-2480A vs X-2580: same compact chassis, different filtration

Because its carbon stage is not part of the normalized configuration, the Finder does not give it credit for carbon filtration merely because another XPOWER model supports it.

X-2580 adds carbon without increasing the amp draw

X-2580 retains the same 550 CFM and 2.8A planning load while adding CF15 activated carbon ahead of the HEPA35-33 primary filter. XPOWER also publishes a ductable outlet that can channel filtered air or support negative-pressure use.

That can make X-2580 a better fit when odor media matters, but it does not automatically make it a better fit for every restoration job. Carbon filters add a consumable stage and can be unnecessary when the task is primarily particulate control.

X-3400A vs X-3580: 600 CFM with different control and filter strategies

The larger normalized pair both publish 600 CFM and 2.8A in a 19.6 × 12.3 × 21.6 inch footprint. X-3400A weighs 28.8 lb and uses variable-speed control, three-stage filtration and built-in GFCI power outlets for daisy chaining. X-3580 weighs 32.8 lb and uses five-speed four-stage filtration with included CF35 carbon media.

This is another case where the maximum-CFM number cannot choose the machine: both are 600 CFM. The meaningful decision is variable speed and onboard outlets versus included carbon filtration and the slightly heavier four-stage package.

Exact filter part numbers matter across the XPOWER line

The similar model names do not imply filter interchangeability. The compact 13-inch filter platform and the larger 16-inch platform use different media sizes and part numbers.

Negative-air support should be checked model by model

X-2480A and X-2580 have current normalized evidence supporting negative-air use. X-3400A and X-3580 have duct-size information, but Restoration Select does not automatically convert “ductable” into a verified negative-air flag unless the exact source supports that use clearly enough.

If containment and pressure control are the actual decision, use Negative Air Machine and the Air Scrubber Finder rather than assuming every XPOWER scrubber is equivalent.

Four units at 2.8A is 11.2A before other equipment

Because every normalized XPOWER scrubber in this group uses a 2.8A planning value, four units sum to 11.2A.
