Commercial Dehumidifier Finder: Match Capacity, Pump, Temperature & Power
Choose the application and the requirements that actually change the job: minimum AHAM capacity, process airflow, expected temperature range, pump drainage, LGR classification, per-unit amp draw, transport weight and remote monitoring. The Finder compares those inputs against the exact normalized dehumidifier catalog and explains the strongest documented candidates.
Match Score describes fit to the requirements you enter. Data Confidence describes how completely the exact product record supports those requirements. Missing information remains unknown, AHAM and saturation stay separate, and Amazon availability does not add points. When you mark a feature Required, the exact record must verify that feature as present to qualify.

What the Finder is matching
The Finder is not a brand ranking. It converts the requirements you enter into explicit evidence checks. A water-damage application gives more application credit to documented LGR design, useful AHAM capacity, pump drainage and monitoring. A basement application gives more weight to pump drainage, lower-temperature operation, manageable electrical load and transport. A high-temperature application rewards a documented high operating ceiling rather than simply selecting the largest PPD number.
These application weights are only one part of the score. Exact numeric limits such as AHAM, process CFM, amps, temperature and weight can act as hard gates when the manufacturer publishes a conflicting value.
AHAM is the hard capacity field; saturation is context
Many commercial dehumidifiers publish both AHAM and saturation capacity. The Finder uses AHAM for the optional minimum-capacity gate because it is the more useful common-condition reference when published. Saturation capacity remains visible in every result so the visitor can see the manufacturer’s high-moisture figure without confusing it with AHAM.
For example, AlorAir Storm LGR 850X currently publishes 85 PPD AHAM and 180 PPD saturation. Dri-Eaz LGR 7000XLi publishes 130 PPD AHAM and 235 PPD saturation. Entering “130” in the AHAM field means exactly that—not “any 130 PPD number from a product title.”
Temperature can remove otherwise strong candidates
If your project expects 115°F conditions, a model with a published 105°F maximum is a verified mismatch even if its capacity and pump are attractive. Conversely, a model with no current operating-range evidence is not automatically rejected; it remains a lower-confidence candidate because the exact requirement still needs verification.
This distinction is especially useful for the current Phoenix 250 MAX, which publishes operation up to 125°F, compared with many compact models whose published maximum is closer to 104–110°F.
Unknown pump status does not become “No”
Several Dri-Eaz records in the current normalized catalog have strong capacity and monitoring evidence but do not yet have a verified pump field in the normalized record. If you mark pump as Required, those models are not silently treated as pump-equipped and they are not silently treated as pump-free. They can remain visible with lower score/confidence and a verification-needed note.
Why BlueDri BD-130 is intentionally held
The current BlueDri BD-130 manufacturer page contains conflicting AHAM statements. Restoration Select therefore keeps AHAM null and holds that exact product from deterministic Finder logic. Its verified Amazon identity does not resolve the technical conflict.

Match Score is not a permanent product ranking
The same model can rank differently for different jobs. A 63 lb Storm LGR 850X can score strongly for portable basement or monitored commercial use. Phoenix 250 MAX can gain substantial value in a high-temperature application. A Dri-Eaz LGR 3500i can remain relevant for a high-capacity loss even though its 157 lb chassis is unattractive when portability is the primary constraint.
How process airflow should influence a shortlist
Process airflow is useful when the equipment must circulate air through a larger drying area or connect to a ducting workflow, but it is not a second moisture-removal capacity score. A model can publish more process CFM and still have lower AHAM PPD than another machine. The Finder therefore treats a minimum process-air input as its own requirement rather than blending CFM into AHAM.
That separation helps with practical choices. A technician may deliberately prefer a 300+ CFM platform for a particular setup while still enforcing a minimum AHAM target, or may leave process airflow unrestricted when compact transport matters more. If the manufacturer does not publish process CFM for the exact model, the Finder lowers Data Confidence instead of inventing a value from a related product.
Why current product status stays visible
A technically strong model can be temporarily sold out without becoming a bad dehumidifier. The current AlorAir Storm LGR 1250X, for example, can remain in the technical catalog while its current product status is marked separately. Finder keeps status visible so a visitor can distinguish “does this fit?” from “can I buy this exact configuration today?”
This also prevents short-term commerce changes from rewriting the underlying recommendation logic. Availability, affiliate route and merchant price are purchase-context fields downstream of technical fit.
Data Confidence prevents false precision
A model can still have Medium Data Confidence when a preferred or supporting field is missing, or when the exact record has stored source conflicts. Required feature fields are stricter: if the exact record cannot verify the required feature as present, that model does not qualify for the shortlist.
Commerce remains downstream from technical fit
Merchant pricing and availability can change quickly, and the current catalog does not retain equally reliable live pricing for every exact model. For that reason, the Finder does not ask for a budget. A dehumidifier without an affiliate route can still rank first when its documented technical fit is stronger.

How does the Dehumidifier Finder rank current models?
It first checks hard limits such as minimum AHAM capacity, temperature range, process airflow, maximum amps and maximum weight. It then scores the remaining models against the selected application and preferred features. When a feature is marked Required, the exact record must verify that feature as present. Affiliate availability does not increase Match Score.
Why are AHAM and saturation capacity both shown?
They are measured under different conditions. AHAM is commonly published at 80°F and 60% RH, while saturation is commonly published at 90°F and 90% RH. The Finder never substitutes the larger saturation number for AHAM.
What happens when a pump or temperature field is unknown?
Unknown data remains unknown; it never becomes zero or a silent Yes. For preferred features, an unknown value can remain with lower confidence. For a Required feature, an unknown value cannot satisfy the requirement, so that model is excluded from the matching shortlist.
Why is BlueDri BD-130 not in Finder?
Its current manufacturer page contains conflicting AHAM values, so the normalized record keeps AHAM unknown and holds the product from deterministic Finder logic until stronger evidence resolves the conflict.
Does a temporarily sold-out current model still appear?
It can. Product status and technical fit are separate from merchant availability. The Finder labels the status so the visitor can decide whether to wait or choose another current model.
Does affiliate availability affect Match Score?
No. Technical fit is scored independently from affiliate availability. A model can rank strongly even when Restoration Select does not currently have a shopping route for it.
